Jody Guralnick mimics the conventional preservation of insect specimens with paint splashes pinned to the surface of a chart depicting various chemical processes in physiology. Guralnick lives and works in Aspen, CO and is internationally known for her meticulous panel paintings that show an interest in the mingling of the microscopic and macroscopic. Her work has been featured in numerous museums and galleries in China, Switzerland, New York City, Aspen and elsewhere.

Kate Breakey's large format, meticulously hand-colored photograph memorializes the beauty of this flower, whose moment of existence could easily remain overlooked without her careful observation. Internationally renowned for her hand-colored photographs, Kate Breakey lives and works in Tucson, Arizona and Australia and has work included in numerous major collections of photography.
